Comment Policy
Be thoughtful, relevant, and respectful. Debate ideas without attacking the people behind them.
Community Standards
- Keep comments relevant to the article or the discussion already in progress.
- Challenge ideas with substance and courtesy; personal attacks, harassment, threats, and hate speech are not welcome.
- Do not post spam, repetitive promotions, deceptive links, impersonation, or content that violates another person's privacy or intellectual property.
- Avoid publishing sensitive personal information, including your own. Comments are public and may be indexed or shared.
Moderation
- Comments may be reviewed before or after publication and may be removed when they do not follow this policy.
- A comment may be held as pending by automated spam controls or for manual review. Please do not submit duplicates while waiting.
- Discussions may be closed when moderation is no longer practical, the conversation has run its course, or abuse is persistent.
- Repeated or serious violations may result in a commenter being blocked. Moderation decisions are made to protect a useful, welcoming discussion.
